Comment: It's mid-April as this is written and gas prices have climbed to the mid $3.00 range and perhaps going higher.  We are all paying closer attention to our travel plans.  For those just getting started or interested in letterpress, a trip to the store is extremely worthwhile as it puts you in an environment where you can see and hold all the "things" needed to set up and print.  Plus, you're able to ask as many questions as you want and get advice from myself and other letterpress printers.  Perhaps the most significant pleasure of visiting is the opportunity to meet and chat with others who have recently started their journey into letterpress printing.  Finally, you are encouraged to check by phone or email whether what you're interested in is on hand before you make the trip.  But we hope you will come by. . . it would be nice to see you!
